New Life for Cinema Square

The development marks a shift for the property located next to the prominent Movieland theater complex. While the former Criterion Cinemas previously served as an expansion of the theater's screening capabilities, the space will now transition into a dedicated restaurant venue under the Tribeca Kitchen name.

The project brings new activity to the Boulevard area, repurposing a specialized entertainment footprint into a culinary destination. According to Richmond BizSense, the restaurant plans to utilize the existing infrastructure of the former cinema building.
