"Destructo Disk, an alternative punk band originally from Winchester, VA, has quickly become a Richmond staple. It’s wild to think they’ve only been tearing it up here for a few years—they’ve covered serious ground in no time. If you haven’t checked them out yet, do yourself a favor. Their live shows are pure energy, and they know how to bring the chaos.
In this episode, we dive into their origins, their journey to Richmond, and—if you stick around long enough—you’ll finally understand what "coagulation" really means. Clair and I swap tour stories, old guard vs. new guard battle tales, and most importantly, we learn what it takes to become a MILKER.
I’ve seen some weird shit on tour, but their story of the infamous blood bed is next level. Absolute bruiser. These kids rule, and this conversation was a blast—made even better by getting to record at The Compound.
Big thanks to @destructodiskfanclub for throwing down and to @rvamag for always having our back. Hopefully, this podcast is infinitely more fun to listen to than last night’s trainwreck of a speech.
Cheers, y’all." — host, Harrison Christy
