Richmond radio broadcast tower against an open sky

WRVA, WRNL, Power 92, Q94 and more — every major Richmond radio station now streams free inside RVA Art, paired with rotating local mural art.

If you have been searching for a way to pull up Richmond radio on your phone, laptop, or living room TV without juggling a dozen station apps, RVA Art now does it in one place. Every major local broadcaster is live in the player, layered over a rotating gallery of Richmond mural art.

The lineup answers what Richmonders have actually been Googling. "WRVA radio listen live," "910 am radio richmond va," "richmond hip hop radio stations," and "fm radio stations richmond va" are among the most common searches that land on Channel RVA — and now those listeners get a working stream instead of a dead end.

What you can tune in to

News and talk — WRVA 1140 AM, the city's heritage news/talk station, streams live. So does NPR member WCVE 88.9 FM for classical and public radio programming.

Sports — The Fan, WRNL 910 AM brings Richmond sports talk and play-by-play.

Hip-hop and R&B — three of the city's most searched stations are loaded: Power 92.1 (WCDX), 106.5 The Beat (WBTJ), and Awesome 100.9 (WJSR).

Rock and alternative — Classic Rock 96.5 (WKLR) and ALT 102.1 (WRXL).

Pop, country, and college — Q94 (WRVQ), Hot 103.7 (WURV), K95 Country (WKHK), and University of Richmond's student station WDCE 90.1.

Why it lives inside RVA Art

RVA Art started as an ambient way to scroll through Richmond's mural scene — and on a Smart TV, it doubles as a screensaver that actually represents the city. Pairing it with local radio means a Carytown coffee shop, a Manchester studio, or anyone at home can keep Richmond art on screen and Richmond voices on the speakers, with no subscription and no ads from us.

Open RVA Art, tap the audio source picker, and choose the Radio tab. The full station list is there. Saved stations stick around, so your morning WRVA habit or your afternoon Power 92 rotation is one tap away next time.

What's next

The station registry is open. If you run or listen to a Richmond-area broadcaster that isn't in the list yet — including LPFM and online-only stations — let us know and we will add it. The goal is simple: when someone searches for Richmond radio, the answer should be one click, not ten.
