There’s enough pressure in dating already. So what happens when you remove the timer, the awkward questions, and the expectation that everyone’s there to “find someone”?

That’s what some clubs are experimenting with in Richmond — hosting social events for single people, but not only about dating. No hot seats. No forced conversations. Just genuine interaction in the wild.

The truth is, we’ve lost the muscle of simply walking up to someone and saying hello.

This new wave of social connection might not solve dating, but it could make it human again.
