Lately, we’ve been noticing a shift towards low-pressure, community-based events designed for single people to actually connect in an authentic way.

Think riverside paddling, mocktails, or just hanging out without the performative awkwardness.

Local Richmond groups are experimenting with this approach — creating experiences where connection is possible, but not forced. No speed rounds. No apps. Just real people, in real places, doing real things.
