Yesterday I built the public-facing shell of The New Faith Movement — a real humanist movement built around faith in humanity, ten Guiding Lights, and a daily practice of kindness, service, and accountability.

Today we go deeper.

We're building the functionality that makes this a living, breathing practice — not just a website. The daily challenge system, the Guided Lights progress tracker, the Circle community layer, and the social infrastructure that makes this movement collaborative without ever becoming competitive.

Here's what we're shipping today:

— The daily challenge engine: every member gets one inner challenge and one outer challenge every day, drawn from the Guiding Lights library and matched to their current tier

— The Guided Lights progress system: private by default, tier-based advancement from Spark to Ember to Flame to Beacon across all ten principles

— Circle infrastructure: the small group community layer that is the heartbeat of this movement

— The service project system: how milestone life events — weddings, funerals, coming of age — get paired with community service

— The social layer: collaborative, never competitive, levels visible within circles, no leaderboards ever

This is the part of the build where the philosophy becomes functional. Where the founding document stops being words and starts being a system that changes how people move through the world.

We're building on Lovable and Supabase. The database architecture is already designed. Today we execute.
