Live vibe coding session: we build a food brand from the OtherNaturalFlavors.com domain, finish a Halloween game, and start an RVA vibe app showcase.

WHAT WE BUILD TODAY

1. Finishing the Halloween game for Channel RVA

Yesterday I built a Halloween game for Channel RVA, RVA's independent media hub. It is not live yet. Today I test the build, find the route that gets a player into the game, fix whatever breaks, and wrap it up. The game was built to promote the Channel RVA citywide scavenger hunt on November 7. You will see what testing a vibe coded build looks like the morning after you made it.

2. Food Brand Build: from domain to sellable brand

The domain is OtherNaturalFlavors.com. We start with a bare domain and take it to a brand someone could sell: the name and positioning, the identity, the website, the product pages and the copy. I build the site in Lovable and use Claude to develop and refine the brand material. If you have a domain sitting unused, this is a full path from domain to finished brand, done live with every decision on screen.

3. RVA Vibe App Showcase

Richmond has a lot of people building apps with AI tools. I want to give those builders a platform. The RVA Vibe App Showcase highlights vibe coded apps from across the Richmond region.

I use WillMelton.com as the foundation. A builder enters a website URL, the showcase scans the site, and the details fill in automatically. Builders can also download a Markdown file that contains a prompt. They run it in their own AI, answer the questions, and feed the response back into the showcase, so nobody has to type into every box.

Once the showcase is running, the next step is sponsors and virtual hackathons that reward the builders. I talk through how that could work during the stream.
