Channel RVA has been growing fast — new content categories, new features, new data — and the homepage has been absorbing all of it in real time. The result is a page that's doing too much: a long scroll that buries content, grid layouts that break when articles are missing images, and sections that were logical additions one at a time but now compete for attention instead of guiding it. Today we're fixing that live.

This session is focused on redesigning the Channel RVA homepage (channelrva.com) to surface the growing content library in a way that's actually navigable. We're tightening the layout, solving the missing-image problem that leaves holes in the grid, condensing the scroll, and creating a cleaner content hierarchy so visitors can see what's available and choose what they actually want to watch or read — rather than giving up halfway down the page.

This is a real design and build session inside Lovable — no slides, no prep decks, just live vibe coding with real decisions made in real time. If you want to see how AI-native development handles a messy-but-real redesign problem (the kind every growing media site faces), this is it. Lovable is where I do most of my builds — grab 10 free credits and start your own project at https://lovable.dev/invite/S8XSI99.

Channel RVA is an AI-powered hyperlocal media platform built for Richmond, Virginia. As the content library has expanded, the homepage has become a bottleneck — not a launchpad. Today we open it up.
