Vibe Coding 101 is a free 75-minute interactive course that teaches non-technical founders, marketers, and operators how apps actually work — and how to start building one. Eleven modules. Interactive demos in every one. Hands-on exercises that get you building the same day. Zero experience needed. No account required to start. Take it free right now at vibe-coding-101.lovable.app.
Today's live session is about making it genuinely world-class.
The course works. The content is solid. But there's a gap between "functional" and "the best free tech course on the internet" — and that gap is what we're closing on stream today. The modules are too repetitive. Every single one follows the exact same template: icon, two sentences, four flip cards, try it box, done. That template is visible and it trains people to skim. The language in some modules reads like a technical writer explaining to another technical writer — precise but bloodless. Some of the interactive demos don't live up to what the module is actually teaching. Module 2 on building tools is the weakest lesson on the site. Module 11 on SEO is the weakest finish to any course I've ever seen. All of that gets addressed today.
Here's what we're building live:
Module content rewrites — every module's body copy, outcome statements, and term definitions get rewritten. Outcomes become first-person wins instead of exam rubrics. Definitions become analogies instead of dictionary entries. The passive voice gets cut everywhere.
Module 2 redesign — the "four tools" framing gets replaced with a spectrum visual. Lovable is on one end: you describe, it builds everything. VS Code is on the other: you control everything. The lesson is about zoom level, not tool names, and the visual will make that instantly clear.
Module 6 redesign — the AI in the Build module currently has four flip cards describing a live concept. It should have a live prompt-to-response widget where you can type your own instruction and watch how guardrails change the output. That's what we're building.
Module 11 graduation moment — the course currently ends on meta tags. That's a terrible last impression. We're adding a completion moment: a rendered certificate, a build checklist you apply to your own project, and a clear sense of arrival.
Homepage improvements — the progress tracker becomes a visual path of eleven nodes instead of a bar and a sentence. The account card collapses to one email input. The module cards get mini-demo animations instead of text summaries.
The platform is free. vibe-coding-101.lovable.app — take it before, during, or after the stream.
