Sometimes the identity that helped us survive, lead and care for everyone else can become the same identity we eventually have to outgrow.
In this episode, Honesty Liller joins me for a conversation about self-trust, self-abandonment and what happens when we begin creating beyond the role people already know us for.
Honesty is widely known for her leadership as CEO of the McShin Foundation, where she has spent nearly two decades serving individuals and families impacted by addiction. As she steps more fully into her work as a transformational coach, she is expanding her impact while staying rooted in the lived experience that shaped her.
We talk about the pressure of being the strong one, the ways competence and service can sometimes hide self-abandonment and the difference between confidence built through performance and self-trust that comes from a more grounded relationship with ourselves.
