In this episode, Lydia Griffith of @FireHorseWisdom joins me for a soulful conversation about spiritual shedding, belonging and the courage it takes to release a version of ourselves that once carried deep purpose.

Lydia was my very first yoga teacher many years ago, which gives this conversation another layer of history and meaning. We talk about her decision to release the spiritual name she carried for 20 years, the grief that came with that choice and the walkabout across the United States that followed.

That journey opened into a deeper exploration of home, identity and what it means to belong within ourselves even when the outer structures of life are changing. We talk about living without a clear destination, listening for what comes next and recognizing home as something we cultivate internally through presence, self-trust and a regulated nervous system.

The conversation also moves through grief, legacy, Eastern and Western astrology, the Year of the Snake, the coming Year of the Fire Horse and the larger cultural shift Lydia sees unfolding around authenticity, freedom, collaboration and community.

At the heart of the conversation is a question many of us eventually encounter: Who are we when the identity that once defined us no longer fits?
